Biography
Brenda Cristela Lozano was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrant parents. She was admitted to practice law in October of 2024 and has since dedicated her legal career to practicing in immigration removal defense. Before becoming an attorney Brenda served as the Executive Director for a local grassroots non-profit by the name of Dream Action Oklahoma (DAOK). During her time at DAOK, Brenda worked with local immigrant and queer youth to advance the cause of justice for immigrants through various sectors, including advocacy and education. With a deep rooted passion for serving immigrants, Brenda is dedicated to advocating for those navigating complex immigration issues. She brings experience and empathy to her work, ensuring clients feel heard and supported. Brenda is committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals facing removal proceedings, combining her legal expertise with a genuine desire to fight for justice and opportunity for immigrant communities at large.
Education
Brenda is a graduate of Southeast High school located in Oklahoma City. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Women & Gender Studies from the University of Oklahoma. She attained her Juris Doctorate Degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
